Jorgs Ark Centre is cognizant of the pandemic of COVID-19 and the adverse effect it has had on a global scale. As the scientists work on getting a lasting and permanent solution, we are also working round the clock to help those who are suffering from SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER.
We are admitting clients who are suffering from S.U.D and A.U.D because we understand what the clients could be going through in terms of withdrawals. Our personnel on the ground are ready to receive you and follow the given protocols by the Ministry of Health to ensure that as a centre we keep COVID-19 at bay.
The client will be IMMEDIATELY PUT ON MANDATORY 14DAY QUARANTINE and will be monitored closely as they work on the Rehabilitation program.
On admission ensure the attending personnel does the following to safeguard you and your loved one:
•Has min protective gear: latex gloves, clean dust coat.
•Takes your temperature and give feedback instantly
•Takes vital exposure history from the client and the significant other
•Recent Travel history to high risk countries (China, Italy, USA, UK, Japan, Korea, India and any other country termed as HIGH RISK by WHO and GoK, or counties that have been termed as HOTSPOTS in KENYA- Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale.
•Contact with people who have travelled to the stated countries and counties in the past one month.
•Contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
•Worked at or visited a facility with patients associated with COVID-19.
IN CASE A CLIENT OR SIGNIFICANT OTHER EXHIBTING INFLUENZA LIKE ILLNESS, THEY ARE TO PROMPTLY REFERRED TO KIAMBU HOTLINE 0700820227 and directed accordingly.
Strict adherence to the social distancing- AT LEAST 1.5 METRES BETWEEN YOU AND THE ATTENDING PERSONNEL TAKING the minimal time to admit.
